The Experience
“We don’t come together just as a religious exercise or because we live in the Bible Belt. We come together because worship and fellowship are a vital part of LIFE.”
Pastor Charles Fernandez

From children to teens to adults. To married, single or single with kids. No matter what your background, race or social status, services at VLC provide an avenue where you can connect with God, his people and your purpose.
Just a few of the words our members have used to describe the VLC Experience are: Joyful, Challenging, Relevant, Refreshing, Empowering and Comforting. If you want to see for yourself, come check us out on Sunday mornings at 10:00 a.m. or the first Wednesday night of each month at 7 p.m. There’s a seat waiting for you.
Visitor FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions)
As a visitor to VLC, you’re not alone! Below, we’ve compiled a few questions that visitors frequently ask.
What should I expect on Sunday mornings?
An upbeat, faith-filled, family atmosphere where you can be encouraged and strengthened.
What will the pastor’s message be about?
At VLC, we want you to be inspired and equipped for the week ahead by teaching you foundational biblical principles you can apply to every aspect of your life.
We all face an assortment of joys, sorrows, battles and challenges daily. That’s why we’re serious about equipping you with spiritual tools to live every day victoriously in Jesus Christ.
What will the music be like?
With a modern and progressive sound, our music is designed to celebrate the greatness of God and His love toward us. Through a diversity of styles, whether its rock, R&B, pop or a well placed traditional hymn, you can expect a worship experience that invites you to connect to God and opens the doors for Him to minister to you.

What’s going on for kids?
When you arrive, a Greeter will welcome you at the main entrance and assist you in finding your respective children’s welcome desk—Victorious Kids in Christ for preschool kids, Victory Lane for grades K-4, and Team 56 for grades 5 & 6. There you will receive all the information you need about our children’s programs and policies. In addition, VKC parents will receive a security card and Victory Lane parents will be asked to fill out a security form so you can pick your children up after the service.

Creating a fun and safe environment for your children to learn about Christ is a top priority at VLC. Our children’s staff is dedicated to providing a loving, nurturing environment for your kids while you attend services.
NOTE: If you’re attending for the first few times and just aren’t comfortable leaving your child in their classroom, you may bring them to the sanctuary with you. Our only request is that you are sensitive to those worshiping around you during the service.

Where do my teenagers go?
On Sunday mornings, teenagers enjoy and participate in the worship service. At VLC, we equip teens for ministry—they sing in the choir, play in the church band, perform drama and dances, and serve on the ministry teams in Victory Lane and Team 56. We train the next generation of leaders and impart the joy of serving Christ through these, and other opportunities, to sharpen their God-given gifts.
On Sunday evenings, Liquid, a ministry targeted to high school students, encourages young people in a way that is relevant, appealing and contagious. Click here to visit the Youth page
What should I wear?
It’s really up to you. At VLC, you can be confident that our priority is teaching you how to live a victorious life in Christ – not what you wear. So dress as you’re most comfortable.
Do visitors have to do anything special?
Your job is simple. Sit down, relax and expect to be inspired and encouraged for the week ahead.
