Ministry Connection
Victorious Life Church is part of the Cornerstone Global Network, based in Toledo, Ohio. CGN is a growing network of like-minded pastors and churches that are connected together through vital relationships and a common vision to advance the Kingdom of God.
Pastor Michael Pitts oversees this growing network of churches in cities throughout the United States, Mexico, and South Africa. He is the Senior Pastor and founder of the dynamic 3,500-member Cornerstone Church in Toledo, OH.
What We Believe
- God – There is one God who reveals Himself as God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. God in three Persons, the Holy Trinity. (Deuteronomy 6:4, Matthew 28:19)
- Jesus Christ – Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God, conceived of the Holy Spirit, and born of the Virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life, was crucified, and arose after three days, providing atonement for man’s sin. (John 3:16, Matthew 1:18-20)
- Holy Spirit – Through His present day ministry of imparting life-changing fruit, and empowering gifts, the Holy Spirit enables God’s people to lead lives pleasing to God and equips them to fulfill their destiny in Christ. (Matthew 3:16; Acts 1:8; Acts 2:1-4; Galatians 5:16-23; 1 Cor 12:1-11)
- Scripture – The Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God. It is relevant to modern society providing the sole authority for Godly living. (I Timothy 3:16)
- Salvation – All people have sinned and fall short of God’s perfect standard. We receive forgivenss of sins and salvation only through faith in Jesus Christ and making Him Lord over our lives. (Romans 3:23, Psalm 103:3, Romans 10:8-10, Ephesians 2:8, Romans 5:20-21)
- Sacraments – We observe the Lord’s Supper and Water Baptism by full immersion as a way to remember and acknowledge and identify with Christ’s sacrifice and provision for us. (Matthew 26:26-28; 28:19; Romans 6:4)
- Return of Christ – Jesus Christ is coming back again in person to judge the living and dead. At that time, all who have died will be resurrected. Those who put their faith in Christ will be raised into everlasting life and those who rejected Christ to everlasting damnation. (1 Thessalonians 4:13-17; I Corinthians 15:51-52; 2 Corinthians 5:10; Revelation 20:10-15)
- Spiritual Family – The local church is the visible expression of the body of Christ—God’s spiritual family. Every member of God’s family is important and is gifted for a unique purpose. As a local church, we all work together to fulfill God’s will in the earth. (Romans 12:3-8, I Corinthians 12:14-27, Ephesians 4:11-16)
